Between April 16th and April 29th Kelly Pavlik gained a reported 32.5 pounds. He weighed in at 159.5 on April 16th, and as of yesterday weighed 192 pounds. You don't blow up or get fat in 2 weeks. Human metabolism just doesn't work that way. He'd have to burn off 24 pounds just to make SMW. He used to routinely burn off 14-17 pounds to fight at middleweight, so dropping 24 pounds to fight at 168 might even be a stretch. Any attempt to make 160 would be suicidal!

They'll probably announce something on Monday. If they had put it out late today it would have been ignored in favor of Mayweather/Mosely coverage. That's the big news right now.

Yeah, he has always looked sick to me.. and more so in the later fights. He was skinny and without strenght and looked like a skinny ghost.

You are one of the Top 3 dumbest ****ers on this site. I don't say that lightly. That is a bold statement, but nonetheless true. Congratulations.

We knew he was over 175 on fightnight. So of course hes going to be 190. The question is how the hell did he manage to get down to 159? I'm guessing 20lbs could be water but the rest? Maybe he fixed the scales?

Maybe he used performance enhancing drugs?

Realistically speaking, he only gained 14 pounds. He weighed 178 on fight night, and he made it down to 160 by dehydrating himself. It's not like that is his real weight when he's in shape for a fight.

Adding 20 lbs over night through rehydration and eating isn't that crazy especially if he had a full stomach and bladder when he stepped on HBO's unofficial scale.
