Dan Rafael at ESPN is reporting that it won't affect the fight. "Dunkin said that Pavlik needed 108 stitches, which will be removed in two to three weeks. "He'll have scars but the stitches will come out and he will be ready to train in about four weeks," Dunkin said. "He'll be OK. It does not affect the fight at all."
Sounds fishy to me too. Hurt his hands while fixing a window or something like that....hmm....did he get angry at that window? :rofl
That's the dumbest **** I have heard in a while...thats like running you own business and screwing up the executive decisions you should be making because you are taking out the time to mop the floors, cut the grass and blow leaves because you haven't "changed". Hell why not get a job working full time for $12/hr because you haven't changed? How moronic can you be? How can you applaud lunacy?
STFU--Some of you are true idiots. The man was helping the installation of a window and slipped. What, hes not supposed to do anything or help anyone because hes a champion now? By reading your post you come across that its beneath you to do anything if you have some money. :-( Sad morals.
Absolutely. He's not the PBF type who hires people to wipe his ass with $100 bills. Kelly is down to earth & I pray that he never changes, but he does have to be more careful doing projects on his own. (((((((((((((( GET WELL SOON KELLY)))))))))))))))
Kelly IS Blue Collar no doubt. He certainly ain't no Pretty Boy. This news does really suck. I woke up this morning hoping that I would check the news this morning only to find out it was a false report....maybe something like Ring Online was hacked and a fake report was posted (as well as on many other credable boxing sites as well). Oh well, guess not. But we still have yet to see if this will effect the Feb date. I'd imagine it would, and even if it doesn't the thought is going to be in the back of my mind....are his hands ok?!?
He should be fine & I don't think the Feb. 16th will be in jeopardy. Kelly trains 7 weeks for a fight, so that means he should start training the last week in December, which is 6 weeks away, & doesn't start sparring immediately when camp starts. Cuts like that heal up in a month or so. He's got 2 extra weeks to heal. He will kick JT's butt again, right on schedule! No worries... :!:
