Hey if he does what you say he will do to Hopkins there will be more agreements on my part ..

IF Pavlik looks good. Nobody ever looked good against Hopkins, why is it not a suprise the p4p most delusional bunch of fans on ESB think Pavlik will?

There is no real reason for me to pick Hopkins just because it may or may not reflect on Calzaghe, because I'm the one that looks stupid if the prediction is wrong, not Joe Calzaghe. I genuinely think Hopkins will beat him.

 

Again a win win for both fighters ..I have always supported this fight from the start I just wasn't subscribing to the over kill that Kelly will walk through anyone he faces ..

On the other hand, if Hopkins wins you are coming to Iceland. I won't ridicule you like vice-versa, I'm not an unreasonable guy, I'll just show you around and make you get the beer in which is enough punishment.

This is the only Hopkins fight in his closing years that I give him no chance in. He will be stopped before the 12th round.

 

Pavlik has the workrate but I don't think he has the speed to beat Hopkins. In their primes Ex stops Kelly in about 9. Today I am gonna look for an 8-4 decision for Hopkins. Bernard fought on even terms with Joe. Kelly does not have the tools to frustrate Ex like Joe did. The power will keep Bernard honest but he will not stop B-Hop with that chin and defense.

 

Pavlik's power is in accumulation, not one punch power, especially suspect to think it'll be at 170 where his size is no longer a big deal. Ridiculous, accumulation hitter, not a real KO puncher.

He's so sloppy anyway, wait until Hops has him off balance and watch him look like absolute ****, possibly get dropped several times.

 

Pavlik has good workrate but to say that he beats Hopkins because Taylor beat Hopkins and Pavlik beat Taylor is pretty daft!!

Calzaghe has much better handspeed and footwork than Pavlik and did he land anything significant on Hopkins, even towards the end of the fight when Hopkins was tired?? No..... (I thought JC won the fight btw - but there wasn't any real significant punches that hurt hopkins) ..... so what makes people think Pavliks going to find Hopkins with a significantly powerful straight? I think Hopkins will win this by UD, but wouldnt be overly surprised for Pavlik to win due to his workrate. Unless Hopkins ages very badly between the Joe C fight and Pavlik I don't see Pavlik getting the KO

 

BHOP will fight ANYBODY. The man is a fighter, can't say he has run from anybody. GO BHOP!!!! I would love to see him finish his career on a win of this caliber.

 

Damn, boo...you've done it again! Termendous post. Everyone thinks KP's just a banger. Fact is, he's prob a smarter fighter than B Hop & will figure out whatever needs to be done to meet this next challenge & come away victorious again.
