All you guys that disrespect Pavlik ever do is look at the side of the coin you only want to see. Well, what about Pavliks offense & his ability to eventually find & hurt his opponent, not to forget about his ability to finish them off once he catches them. B Hop may give Kelly some problems early on, but do you really think he'll be able to do it for a full 12 rounds. KP will keep the pressure on, Popkins will gas & then won't know what the hell hit him. He'll be sitting on the canvas just like Taylor asking his cornermen, "I got knock out???" :yep
Go **** in your hat. I fail to see the humor. ****in know it all boxing expert, thats what you think you are. Pavlik HATER is all you are.
Did that same Kelly Pavlik with all those KO's knock out Taylor in the rematch ??No he didn't this is why people don't buy into the hype created by his fans that he will just steam roll whom ever ..And do you honestly think Hopkins can't fight for 12 rds against a 1 2 type of fighter ?
If he gassed against a slapping fighter like Calzaghe, he'll really be looking for the exits signs against someone with Kellys workrate & power. See you guys.:hi:
No. I'm the recluse. Well, quality over quantity. Plus, Kelly has less of a tendency to go enough rounds for that disntinction.
Yep. Even if Pavlik walked out and KO'd Bhop with his first punch it wouldn't be as good a win as Ole Joe's. Shall we start a poll thread with the most likely excuses? Pick one now? :boohoo
Er, I like Pavlik and I agree with him - Pavlik is no where near as boxing-intelligent as Hopkins. Hopkins is in my view, one of the three most intelligent minds in boxing today, the other two being Calzaghe and Jones Jr.
Well, considering how limited you claim his skills are, he must have something going for him. You have heard Bhop speak haven't you?
In so much as he has adapted to make up for his decline of physical skills.... The ref could make a big difference in this fight. TFFP has told me not to expect that since it hasn't happened before though.
It's nothing about adapting to the decline of his physical skills, he has better lung capacity, heart rate and endurance than most well trained 21 yr olds, scientifically proven. He's been boxing intelligently since his mid thirties, he knows the game inside and out, you only have to see him talk boxing or tactics, or look at the game plans he employed against Winky, Tito, De La Hoya or Johnson to realise, this guy has more smarts in that ring than most. Most people want to believe he faded against Calzaghe, my worst fear is that he didn't, he was simply out-thought in the ring and I don't see Pavlik doing that. Pavlik is more open to being hit than any fighter Hopkins has faced in the last few fights with the exception of Tarver. He busted Tarver's **** all night, are you really going to tell me Pavlik hits as hard as Tarver? Who at 175, was considered the biggest hitter for a number of years?
