I bet he's there for it, it can't possibly be a worse result because he lost every second of every round in their outing.

Same result all over again, Pavlik out to be focusing on 160lbs targets, or.. as they stand right now, 154lbs targets

Pavliks reign will soon come to an abrupt ending, the young lions at 160lbs are going to tear him apart. :scaredas:

For what its worth, I think there will be an exciting outing with Martinez, and I'm looking forward to it, a fight Pavlik can possibly win.

I watched Ornales/Rubio back to back with Pavlik/Taylor 2 several times prior to Pavlik/Rubio. I couldn't believe how much slower the O/R fight seemed. There was little doubt in my mind how Pavlik/Rubio would go after that. Ornales did better than Pavlik against Hopkins. Watch between rounds and you can see that Pavlik was congested. Not even debatable. Now Kelly gets **** here for wanting a rematch? Think most of the people against it are really afraid it won't turn out the same?

i honestly see no way kelly could do much better then the first fight, im a fan of pavlik but honestly, 2 kelly pavliks wouldnt be able to beat 1 b hop, atleast on that night,(maybe 3 kellys could get the job done )
unless pavlik has completely changed his style, or b hop i hit hard by father time, kelly should focus on other fights, b hop is just a stylistic nightmare for pavlik

Why does he want a rematch? Infact I would pay to watch him get his ass handed to him again! War Pavlik!

Booradley, while it is commendable that he wants to rematch the guy who kicked his ass from ring post to ring post, it's not going to happen. There's just not going to be much of an interest for it, even if he's completely healthy. I think the criticism of his recent competition is fair even if they were mandatories, however, Pavlik fighting Martinez is a compelling fight that has intrigue, competitiveness, and clashing styles that will have the fans interested (and a fight that I think Pavlik wins) these are the types of fights Kelly needs...not a rematch with Hopkins who I think would beat a healthy version of Pavlik.
