Hopkins has everything that is wrong for Pavlik.
ITs the same case with Tito and Hopkins. They can fight 100 times and he just wont ever beat them.

    Terrible styles match up.

Before asking for a rematch with Hopkins, he should concentrate on Martinez. Sergio has enough tools to school him the same way Hopkins did.

Of course Pavlik is going to say he's up for it. What do we expect him to say - "man that Hopkins kicked my ass - I don't ever want to be in the same ring as him again in my life." The rematch won't happen. I'm a Pavlik fan - but there's no point in bringing it up really.

I would like to see a rematch, just to see if this whole Pavlik being sick stuff is true. What would he do in another match?

I wish Pavlik would unify the MW division...go to Germany and fight Sturm and Sylvester

No comission in the world would sanction a rematch he was nearly killed in the first fight.

Hopkins absolutely dominated him. You dont get rematches unless it was a close fight or the guy who held the title for a long time looses and either the public demands a rematch or there was a rematch clause in the contract.

Neither of those apply to pavlik-hopkins

:deal Instead of worrying about hopkins at 170+ he needs to focus on martinez, they guy coming from 154 to 160 with a slick style that pavlik showed he has problems with.

Loew never did get a chance to use plans B C & D that he had for Hopkins.

Yawn. Hopkins will have Pavlik's number, always. Hopkins is too smart a fighter for Pavlik.
