for what? so you can get your ass kicked by the old man again. pavlik vs. hopkins rematch is just about as bad as hopkins/jones 2. but wait that fight is actually happening, so who knows.

Sergio hadn't lost a fight in 10 years before he lost a really close one with Paul. That's a bit harsh.

 

If they wait 10 years to do it, maybe.

But Pavlik's problem's in that fight were far from merely speed and stamina. He had immediate and severe tactical problems going against a guy who knew was Kelly was going to do before he did it.

No version of Pavlik was going to trouble Hopkins. And his bush league trainer obviously couldn't give him any help in the corner.

Plenty of compromised fighters have performed better than Kelly did that night. He got outclassed. However you try to spin it, history will remember it like this: Hopkins >>>>>>> Pavlik.

Outclassed.

 

In a rematch Jack Loew will remind Kelly over and over to "double the ****ing jab.":yep
