    Pavlik is going to talk stoppage in the leadup, and do his best to fight smart on the night, IMO.

    In the past he has said he goes out and fights and what happens happens. So, was just surprised.

    I'm not surprised. I said from the beginning that we could expect Pavlik to be looking to make a statement in this fight. The only way he'll get any real credit for a win is if he hands Bernard a serious ass whipping; something no one else has ever really done.

    What the hell is up with Bernard being so nice? If you watch the video, it's easy to see that, even in a room full of rabid Pavlik fans, he's having a great time. I have a theory, but I'd like to see some other opinions.

    Well, at least today it looks like fans hugged on him a little and gave him respect. I don't know Hopkin's well enough to know how often he is speaking his mind and how often he is not. For the most part, he seems like he just opens up like a book, so maybe this is real?

    I think that Bernard is a bit like an old pro wrestler who played the bad guy for most of his career, but at the end he wants to be remembered fondly by the fans, so he becomes a sort of elder statesmen who is always there to rescue the good guys when they get in trouble.

    Well, hopefully he doesn't mean this too literally. Trying to knock out the hardest guy to knock out you've ever faced, isn't the best time to go out of your way to try and knock someone out.
