Wrong dude. Hopkins beat Taylor. It's the corrupt judges that couldn't give him the decision. I bet you are one of the guys that say Cassamayor beat Santa Cruz. Go get your eyes checked, maybe it's time for glasses.

I agree with the post here. I dont understand how you could gain so much prestige from beating JT. That win elevated Pavlik to the top ten p4p rankings and IMO that was unreasonable.

Some people dont even have guys like Hatton and Kessler in there top ten p4p and they have achieved more so far.

Yes you will, BHOP achieved a hell of a lot before his 2 losses to JT. Nearly all of Pavlik's hype comes from his 2 fights against JT.

When I was managing Kermit Cintron we took him down to philly 4 times to box Bernard. 6 rounds each time. It was neck n neck. I felt they split it about 12 rounds each. The key to Kermits success? A disciplined jab, distance, and a very str8 long right hand. Absolutely no infighting.
I also feel that is the blueprint for Kell to beat Hopkins, and I feel he will do so by KO.
I agree with everyone that say Hopkins is smart, and his experience gets the better over guys. People point out his low activity, and poor work rate. Well, thats exactly what aloows him to beat guys. I feel he tricks them into over confidence. Which brings them inside where Hopkins is at his best, and that allows for a slow, rough, and dirty fight.
If Kelly boxes behind his jab. and maintains distance he will best hopkin up early, and stop him late.

    Define beat please..:rofl
If Cory beat him, then I could realistically beat a top contender myself, by running scared

Sparring is not a real fight. I'm sure Kermit with head gears is one of the best fighters in the world... Maybe Bernard worked on his outside game, and tested himself. In a fight, Bernard is tough, rough, dirty - a badass. He will smother Pavlik, and fight on the inside. He is too smart to be beaten by a jab.

"Sparring is not like fighting" I love that statement. It has to be one of the most moronic statements ever heard. I have sparred Julian Letterlough, Hasim Rahman, Travis Kauffman, and quite a few other guys . I have also been in 60-70 street fights, and I can tell you one thing with certainty. Getting punched by a guy with 18oz gloves while wearing headgear hurt every bit as much as getting hit by a bare fist. The only difference being that a bare fist can cause more superficial damage. As for "Maybe Bernard worked on his outside game." That is puirely specualtion on your part. Don't forget this is sparring in PHILLY. Notorious for gym wars. The first time they sparred it became so heated that Hopkins camp proposed to us we stop tha sparring before one of them got hurt. I also find it comical how easily you dismiss the jab. The Jab is absolutely the most effective punch in boxing. When used properly it is both and offensive and defensive weapon, and log with footwork is essential in maintaining distance. To get close to Kelly, Bernard will have to navigate through 50-60 jabs a round. Jabs which inevitably are followed by a damaging right hand. People dismiss Kelly, and say he is nothing more then a double jab right hand. Well that is not true. He is just so effective with his double jab right hand that the casual observer fails to notice everything else in his offense and defense. I personally love Kellys' defense. The way he rolls his shoulders, and catches punches on his arms n gloves. Pavlik by KO in 6-8

    :yep

Boxing skill wise, Bernard has all these guys beat. It's true Jermaine hasn't been the same since the Hopkins fights. He shouldn't have had any trouble with Spinks, or Ouma.

I think he might have enough left in the tank to pull this one out. It'll be interesting to watch though. We seen how Hopkins could disrupt the likes of Calzaghe and Wright. Pavlik has more facets to his game than just his offense, but is a more straight up type fighter than the guys Bernard has been facing.

You are saying if it goes to decision, Hopkins wins without waiting to see the fight happen? What if Bhop goes down in EVERY round. That is still a robbery? :nut
