"I don’t think it’s as high profile as Taylor just due to the fact Taylor did dethrone Hopkins but, speaking of Hopkins, a two-weight class division champion, world champ, you know, never been convincingly beat. So it’s great for me. I think I could do - especially after watching the Calzaghe fight - I think I could definitely go in there and win this fight convincingly. You know, stoppage or just a unanimous decision, that’s going to be a huge, huge victory for me and, you know, I have a lot of - a ton of confidence going into this fight with Hopkins."

It was a reasonably clear victory, but not what I would call convincing.

I just hope . . . he's right. Nobody has ever beat Bhops congvincingly yet . . . . the only way to do that is to . . . KNOCK him OUT.

Well you could call it convincing, meaning Jones was obviously more "ready" as a fighter than Bernard at the time and won a clear-cut decision. Convincing as in dominating, of course not.

Perhaps earlier. I was being conservative but who knows we may be surprised with an early KO or we may just have to settle for a clear points victory:)

No one KO's Bhop..He could win by a wide UD, but no one stops Bhop..even this version of bhop.

**Edit. i predict Bhop makes this an ugly and competitive fight. Bhop can still punch. He could stop Pavlik.

Yes. That's what I meant. It was pretty clear who won due to Roy's gifted defensive reflexes. I also don't think Hops was as good at that point as he would later become. But it wasn't much of a beating Bhop took. I mean how many times did he even get punched? Like 6?

I'd say Roy landed a little more than 6 shots.
But Bernard definitely landed about 6 :good

Pavlik is making a big mistake in thinking he is going to KO Hopkins ..I don't disagree with the notion that he beats him convincingly, but on pts ..That's more reasonable .

But im expecting Hopkins by UD !
