Pavlik had to fight mandatory. Williams is counting on Martinez not having enough time to train, fight on short notice. It's a shame Pavlik had injury with infection.

Its a shame that you have a brain infection. So just for the record what will be your excuse should Williams win the fight??? Will it be the corupt judges that you have already made us aware will be on Williams side, and the Ref as well, or will it be the lack of training even though Martinez has had enough time for a full training camp. Or will it be all of the above..

Sergio Martinez fights at Junior Middleweight genius.

Maybe two years ago not anymore. His division is crap. Williams is the only intriguing and marketable opponent. Williams also has the option of going back down in weight and taking fights against Cotto, Mosley, and hell even Pacquiao. Since he's fought at Welterweight. So your boy is assed out on this one.

I doubt Pavlik has the guts to move up to SMW. Where his height and size means jack ****.

what happen to pavlik. he might just be overrated. His best wins where againts Taylor who is getting his ass whipped left and right now and Miranda. he then got schooled by hopkins.

you don't have the sensibility to see that I obviously meant junior middle, what a moron.
Martinez has been there for something like seven years. Pavlik is a far bigger star than Williams at this point and has made a lot more money and been viewed more.
The whole doubting of Pavlik's guts is loony, considering who he fought and when he fought them.

i know i know...all the fallout of the fight not happening is to be expected. all i was referring to is the idea of the fight in the future.

You didn't have the brain capacity to fix your mistake in the first place idiot. Instead you came off like dumbass who had no clue about weight divisions so too bad you.

Will see how big of a star he is when he continues to fight nobodies and Williams gets another big fight.

Bah his last fights prove otherwise. It doesn't take that much guts to fight cans like Lockett, Rubio, and Espino. The only reason he took the Hopkins fight is because he thought Hopkins was "old and washed up". Thats why they kept on saying they were gonna knock Hopkins out. Until Hopkins made them look like an idiots:lol:

Oh yeah! Maybe they'll all fight him for free, in his own back yard, too!

Locket and Rubio were mandatories. The only fighters Pavlik has CHOSEN to fight have been Hopkins and Williams.

I really don't know where this hate comes from. There are champions out there who have been dining on serious tomato cans for much longer periods, and get minimal stick for it.

    OK????

Not in this era. All the top champions have fought serious competition. Most noticeably the Klitckos and Pacqiauo. They've proven their the best and let their talent do the talking. Take the Roy Jones like reigns back to the 90s where they belong.

Another distraction. Come up with some evidence that Pavlik has been ducking the best fights or get the **** off this thread.

I only need one, his name is Arthur Abraham "*****".

I'll let him slide on Williams since he cried about his injury almost killing him.(until he miraculously healed over night when he got a fight against Espino).

Somebody clear this up for me, why did Pavlik back out of a championship fight based on an injury then schedule a ppv exhibition against another tomato can for a couple of weeks after the cancelled championship fight?

The same guy that voluntarily fought Lujuan Simon and Mahir Oral? And Pavlik's the one that's been cherrypicking weak opposition? :patsch

Anyway: Since when did Sauerland make an offer to Team Pavlik for Pavlik to "duck" it? There wasn't one. Pavlik wanted the fight; AA wanted the fight; but Sauerland and Arum werne't interested in taking risks. It's as simple as that.
