It seems that TOP RANK Once Again is Jumping the Gun on Pavlik's Career again! Pavlik wants to Fight In March not April. Top Rank Choose him a Tomato Can and a date for his next fight but nothing has been signed!

Arum Said Pavlik is in Line for Chavez if he Looks Good after 2 tune ups!

Actually Pavlik would be in line for a rematch with Sergio provided Sulaiman sticks to his word, tells daddy Chavez to **** off, and enforces a Chavez-Martinez fight after Sergio schools Macklin. Been reported in several articles. So... Martinez-Pavlik II around Oct/Nov?! I'd watch it for sure, provided Pav looks decent against one of the top 10's at MW around summer time.

So what's the deal about not signing the contract? I read it, but I guess I don't understand why and where there are problems...

Enough with these guys, pirog, martinez, golovkin, proksa these are the interesting guys at 160 that should fight each other and give us good fights.
Guys like chavez jr, sturm are tricksters, the you have guys like macklin, quilin,n'jikam, lee, geale who are worth fighting but I prefer those first 4 guys mixing it up.

Pavlik is done. Come on guys. He had a very close fight with Alfonso Lopez who some people actualyl thought he lost. Alfonso Lopez!! Sure Pavlik will get thrown in with some cans and do what he used to do but when he goes up against the elite he will be beat again. Pavlik was just big enough for the weight at the right time. I honestly dont think he beats Chavez Jr.

come on man. 13 month layoff and they put him in with a undefeated guy who fought at LHW most of his career. Sure he looked bad, but got back to his old self in 9th & 10th rds. How can you look good against a guy who flurry's then grabs right after???

I will admit i was one of the people who thought he lost at first. BUt I was drunk with 200 Pavlik fans at a local Buffalo wild wings. Then I watched the fight again and seen he won the fight!

Chavez would not be able to withstand 7-8 rounds of Pavliks Hard punches. He doesn't Move or Block enough. Taylor F'N Made for Kelly! Not To Mention Kelly has been looking sharp in his Training videos Ive seeN!

Garcia is doing a great job!

anyone can look great in training. In the ring that is another thing.
I do not see Chavez Jr. as being a great fighter but I do see him as being on the same level as Pavlik during his prime. They lack some skills but are big and tough enough to make every fight a war and win most.
The only difference in a Chavez Jr.-Pavlik fight would be age. And that to me would be the deciding factor in the fight.

Read The Article. Something Like His first Fight will be At 166. Then a Little lower weight probably like 163-164 for his 2nd fight. He weighed 173 coming into Garcia's Gym.

Garcia said 160 is not out of reach as long as Kelly doesnt gain a bunch during strength training!

What Arum really meant is that he will be in line for a shot if he looks **** after two tune ups. Pavlik is done, that's clear since he's last tune up where he barely scraped the victory.

Another calculated 'risk' from the Chavez camp. What a fraud.
