Once upon a time there were a ton of nay-sayers who didnt believe that Pavlik would or could win--He then went on to win the Middleweight Championship of the World. It will happen again but at a different weight. Its only fitting for the same naysayers to say he wont or cant do it. Just a reminder----You are the same ones who said he couldnt win the middlweight division. Pathetic. :hi::hi::hi::hi::hi:
Didn't you hear the news? He's ducking the top 168ers to go back to 160 and fight tomato cans. He's done
You're confused dude. He isn't going down to light middleweight, he's just fighting light middleweights...
PIC, you're just doing this so you look like a genius in case it actually happens. It's like when Atlas picked Tony Thompson over Wladimir.
I respect pavliks fight game and really appreciated the small town work man like attitude he bought to the game. But unless you've been living under a rock or in Youngstown Ohio, which is pretty much the same thing, you would know that there is a tournement going on in the super middle division. The level of talent being displayed not only in the ring but also by the corner teams is far superior to anything pavlik could bring especially since the blue print to beat pavlik is already written and in wide spread circulation. Pavliks best bet is to feed on the young guys like Chavez jr or angulo guys that can bring a decent paycheck. If pavlik goes to supermiddle and dares challenge for a title he will retired befor the end of the telecast.
Can he still make 160lb? And even if he can, all the money and good middle weights are at 168lb. He should wait until the next round of the tourney and try to get either Green, Froch, or Abraham. He may be able to beat one fo these slower handed fighters. He has no chance with a skilled boxer.
