    old.

I know that Sergio fought PW tough, but isn't it a shame that Pavlik isn't fighting at 168 lol... I see Pavlik right now as a man who if he loses to the 35 year old Sergio who can turn old any time...Pav will become the laughing stock of every boxing site. Herman, Brad, you better pray your man wins lol...

Yeah if Plavik loses his stock fall out of the bottom, if Sergio loses I can still see him having another big fight unless this fight isnt competitive at all.

Some fighters like Hopkins peak at a later stage of their life, and I think Martinez is one of those fighters. Seeing him jumping up and down, for- and backward for the full 12 rounds against PW made Williams looks like a fool who couldn't catch up for the first three rounds 'till martinez slowed down. He shouldn't slow down 'cause his stamina (as a soccer player and a cyclist) is really super!!

    ugh, where to start.

    1) Many people had Martinez beating PW, including myself (by 1 point).
    2) Martinez isnt an old 35, bc he only picked up boxing at 19 and is in phenomenal shape as he was athlete anyway before picking up the sport.

Should Pavlik win, he deserves a good deal of credit, and if he loses- so be it, Martinez is a good fighter.

ohhh and if pavlik wins he still suck because he is fighting a 35 year old man...people like you cant never be happy and content..........here is how i see your point of view...martinez just fought pw,so he is not 100%pavlik is not fighting at 168 so he is fighting smaller man,if he losses everyone will be laughing at him,if martinez wins he is the MAN,if martinez loses he can come back and no one will laugh at him....dumb,dumb,dumb.............i really dont think pavlik is losing this one,and here is one question for you...what happens if pavlik ko martinez???............you will say lucky shot!!

Don't count me as one who thought Martinez won. I had him at +280 and didn't need to hear the decision as I knew that he lost. From the eighth round on, it's like he was just trying to make it to the end of the fight.

well you +280 wasnt quite right,as a matter of fact i think it was only because pw was the favorite and martinez the underdog, not because you know much of boxing...when i saw martinez vs cintron, and found out he was against pw,my first thought was that pw was biting more than he can chew.......there is only a minority that thinks pw won..most people are between martinez or a draw..go ahead ,ask around!

Martinez himself even said he didn't really think he won in which he said it could gone either way.

This happens all the time. What about when Floyd fought a 34 year old Marquez, forced him to come up two divisions, and then cheated him on the weigh in?

Isn't that the same thing, but actually much worse, since Martinez just recently fought at 160 and looked comfortable at the weight?

I bet on Martinez. He looked good for the first four or five rounds and that's it. I conceded that he lost before they read the cards.

    Making a reference to Cintron?

Who the fu_k is Kermit Cintron? Especially at 154.

Forget 154 or 160. Exactly who has Martinez beat? What has he done? He stepped up against Margarito and got KO'd.

    Kermit Cintron? WTF?

I think you may be in for a big surprise tonight.
I think Martinez will put on a HUGE show for the masses while thoroughly out boxing Pavlik.

And many of those you ask just plain old don't like PW. Don't dismiss the effect of bias on a ****ing boxing website. It was a close fight. Many people had Sergio winning, but most people there had Paul winning, although by a lot less of a margin that Benoit's scorecard indicated.
