Small(ish) venue. NICE SEAT. I'll rewatch the fight a little later. I don't the fight night weights, but these guys looked pretty even in size from where I sat. If you think Rubio hasn't grown into MW, you are an idiot.:deal

Arum considers Mundine "tainted" because of his 9/11 remarks.

So then wouldn't you want Pavlik to kill Mundine to get massive american support? Seems like smart match making to me.

And no, it didn't look like Rubio had anything to challenge Pavlik. Freddy Mercury was done after about round 3.

Rubio threw some damned meaningful swings after the 3rd. I could really see the sweat fly off heads from where I was. If it didn't show in the video, I don't know what to tell you.

Well being that Jermain Taylor was the WBC/WBO MW Champ Pavlik climbed the rankings. Pavlik fought WBC ELIMINATOR # 1 against Zertuche, and when that wasn't good enough he fought WBC ELIMINATOR # 2 vs. Miranda.

But you already knew that my man.

Are you really trying to argue that Waluigi had a shot in there?

  9. Yeah. If Pavlik doesn't watch himself he'll end up being Kessler or Calzaghe. Of course, he have to fight bums for another eight years.

I was up till 5am. Kelly gets a win and already the discredit before he gets out of the freaking shower. Rubio was trying to lure Pavlik in and then try and explode. He just wasn't able to pull the trigger against Pavlik the way his 'secret plan' called for. But we were there. We saw what we saw.

I watched it on TV. Rubio had no plan other than hoping Pavlik would spontaneously combust in the middle of the ring.

I'm not even on about that....it was a mandatory. He had no choice.

It's what happens AFTERWARDS that I'm worried about. Not everybody is a nut hugger or a hater, some of us want MARKED improvement from Pavlik and Duddy isn't going to bring that.

Yo Big Bone, I was bangin' my chick and made her Moan...had her speaking in Tongues, she kept sayin' Mikey take me to the twilight Zone...she ran into E.T. even he was sayin' hold da Phone. I kinda don't like your Tone. I'm joking. Interesting post indeed... pavlik vs arthur has to happen.. its good for boxing. I wonder if king arthur would step in the ring with hops? DRMULLEN.

So... a mandatory challenger at an alphabet title is a more worthy challenger for the world middleweight title than a reigning alphabet world champion, is that what you're saying?

There's a poll added, so we can actually see what the public really wants.
