Yeah it's only a matter of time before he moves up anyway. He must be killing himself to make 160.

I think you failed to read the opening post, but it doesn't matter, the purpose was to get a little attention anyway, and I've got yours. Nobody denies Kelly's run in 2 years, but recently and what's ahead according to Arum, weak opposition mainly from lower classes AND with the Hopkins loss, Pavlik fails to impress as an undisputed champion, top elite boxer in the world. Let me put it this way: he didn't lose his MW belts, but lost his P4P status, his clear no1 position is his division, and this unbeatable beast image he had, which he won't get it back fighting Rubios Duddys and Moras. He KO'd Taylor impressively in 2007, but he failed to impress vs. the elite since Jermain, losing to the only elite guy he faced. It's 2009 now, so he needs to shut the critics up who either say there are two top guys now at 160 (with Kelly being #1 because of his titles), or already rank Abraham ahead of him (Fightnews). Lockett, Rubio, Mora, Duddy and the Hopkins loss in between them - now that's not the way an undisputed champ should do. He needs to take on Arthur Abraham, because he's the very fighter who's threatening Kelly's no1 status, and Pavlik badly needs a big win over an elite opponent, which would put him back where he belongs IMO. Mora, Forrest are smaller guys from lower divisions, Duddy is hyped slugger, exciting, but very beatable. Abraham is the threat. That's what you would've found in the opening post.

Nobody. Only over half the people on this board. And I'm tired of everyone calling AA elite and saying Kelly isn't. AA is no more elite than KP. He can't be simply because of WHO he has fought. People continually say AA is elite and go unchallenged. END OF.

Not for me...I frequently try to make clear that Pav and AA and perhaps Sturm are pretty good fighters and every possible fight combination between them would be very exciting and without a clear favorite. Of course I favor AA, but that's only my personal pov.

Other than Sturm (Universum would never let it happen) and Abraham (the money doesn't appear to be there for either promoter to want to put this on) and the Williams/Winky winner (a possibility if Winky wins, but Arum refuses to deal with Williams), who's even out there? The MW division flat out sucks right now, and frankly there isn't much of a difference between the #5 ranked guy in the division and the #30 ranked guy in the division at the moment.
