I'm sure he won't fight four times this year.

I hope Pavlik fights 4 times that will be awsome. Will also show that Pavlik means business and plans to clean house.

He may hope to fight four times this year, but I don't think he'd fight another fight in 08 after September. It'd also depend who he fights and how the fight goes. If he were to have a tough fight in September, he may want to take more time off.

Eubank fought 5 times in a year, icluding goimng to Germany, so its very possible to do so.....Duddy isn't in Pavlik's league that fight is a big fat waste of time.....Even Wayne Elcock beat up Howard Eastman.......Duddy fully struggled and lost that fight by all accounts at his big homecoming fight.....

Top Rank is trying to make a Duddy/Pavlik fight because they know it will sell in New York City. Duddy has a large following and Pavlik fans would likely travel to MSG as well. I think Pavlik has wanted to fight in MSG as well, if I remember correctly, therefore it would be a good idea for a "easy" fight that could sell out the place. If the fight is a waste of time then they're looking at it as a waste of time that they can make money off of. For the Eastman fight, I feel Duddy has a problem fighting his own fight and getting caught in others' strategies (similar to Yory-Boy). I felt Duddy won against Eastman, and scored the Campas/Duddy fight a draw (but I can say I gave more favoritism to Campas for his phonebooth style). A Duddy/Pavlik fight may not be interesting to most people, but I'd likely go because it's another reason to get drunk and sing....as well as be there when fate hits John.

Oh yeah it will definitely sell but I get the feeling Duddy's people only care about lining their pockets cos Duddy is pretty easy to hit and so ity could be a dangerous bout indeed

I really think it all depends on how hard Pavlik fights with Taylor and Duddy are and how much a build up they want for a Abraham fight. If Pavlik can take out Both Taylor and Duddy early with out to much wear and tear on Kelly I think he will fit a easy defence vs a Mora or Syvester before talking on Abraham. Also they might want to have a REAL big build up for Pavlik vs Abraham with Authur fighting two times on HBO before the big one with Pavlik:bbb
I see Pavlik taking on Mora because of Mora' contenders following and the hype that go along with the fight, it would draw big in LA.
On the other hand Pavlik might go for a fight with Sturm as his Sept fight because Kelly wants all the belts.:deal

Sounds like alot. Every 3 months isn't the norm anymore. But it could be done, as long as he doesn't have to work too hard in each fight with little wear & tear on his body.

Look at it this way, he is expecting to fight Duddy in June at MSG. Then he wants AA by the end of the year. Seems likely at that point, he'll move up to 168. Calslappy?

Kelly intends to clear out 160 then move to 168, I don't think Andy Lee will be ready by the time Kelly was out of the division, and in fact the only reason it's being mentioned is because Emanuel Steward is bitter about Kelly beating Taylor. Hopefullly Sturm will give Kelly his chance.
