    A well-done steak is a wasted steak.

The analogy works better when used for "wasted potential."

To be honest, I think that at this point, Oozthuisen is more dangerous than Pavlik. Let's face it, Pavlik isn't the same anymore since B-Hop fought him. As for cherry picking, if there's a guy that deserves respect for NOT doing that, it's Carl Froch. To say that Froch is beeing scared of Pavlik is completely delusionnal.

pavlik was two weeks out of rehab...literally...and gave a top 5 p4p fighter the toughest fight of his career. but froch is going to walk right through him.

big froch fan but it would be a war. and this dude is a notorious pavlik hater.

I don't think anyone can call Froch a ducker after his recent fights against Kessler, Ward, Dirrell, Bute, Johnson, Abraham, Taylor and Pascal.

My gut feeling, Pavlik will rise again. He will be a well done steak done right!

Pavlik's way too much of a stationary target for Froch, plus his biggest asset - his power - probably won't be too much use against Froch's chin.

Still, it's a pretty marketable fight and should be good entertainment. I hope it ends up happening.

He has no chance against the big names at SMW.

I'm not gonna say he does or doesn't but I think he is heading into the right direction, if he stays away from alcohol and regains his confidence.

Yes, KP did better than people remember. He had Martinez looking like he was running for his freaking life for awhile there. Thing of it is, that was one of Pav's worst performances EVER, but Sergio acknowledges KP as his most difficult opponent.

I didn't even read it. :D Then again, why would Froch avoid a one-dimensional plodder tailor made for his style?

Froch is a man who fought the likes of Bute, Kessler, Ward, Taylor, Abraham, Pascal, Dirrell and whoever else I'm missing. There's no way in hell anyone would convince me or anyone half sane he's avoiding Pavlik of all fighters.

With options like Ward II, Kessler II and Bute II all possible, Pavlik is irrelevant.
