Bless him don't think he fancys it at 168lbs in the big boys playground, sounds to me like he thinks hes payed his dues already and is above all this, maybe the hunger and love of the sport is no longer there after his beatdown.
so now your trying to seperate it in terms of weightclass. As i said, your way to defensive about this subject, and your response smells of desperation.' why on earth would i look, at who he has fought at mw, when i know who he is going to face, at a higher weight..? based on your reply,im guessing it will be pointless to discuss this with you. i thought for one second, that i might be able to persuade you, into seeing it from both sides. ill go by my original post and original opinion, that neither men duckes each other.
I hope Kelly is alright mentally. That article had a lot of quotes from him that sounded very out there. He normally doesn't ***** about money or anything...that's insane.
I agree with that neither man is ducking each other, however I do believe Saunderland was playing games. Way too many coincidences in the timing of this tourney and the signing of Kessler
indeed.. obviously we dont know him personally, but everytime ive seen him interviewed prior to this, he´s been humble, respectfull and the sort of fighter which style suits his personality. i wonder, if some of the hardcore pavlik fans, can elaborate on this.. is pavlik falling apart a bit, or what is going on.. personally im not going to crusify him for one "bad" interview, but im certainly interested in hearing something, which could explain his outburst..
:deal deal From beating every man he's faced so far, most by devastating KO's. WTF has that to do with anything ? Lewis needed two fights to beat Rahman. Was Rahman better ? Lennox got caught with a perfect shot early in the first fight. AA got caught with a perfect shot from the hard hitting Miranda, suffering one of the worst broken jaws seen by surgeons. In round 4. Aand went on to WIN the fight, despite deliberate headbutts and low blows by Edison. Almost stopped Edison in Round 9. Won the fight with or without the point deductions. (They didn't affect the result). And, of course, put him out in the rematch, in the most devastating KO Miranda has ever suffered. So put down the crack pipe, put away the hate and acknowledge what everyone else knows. Kelly was mis-handled by Arum and has now probably missed the boat. And all to avoid a fight that was winnable for him, a pick'em fight. ps: You're getting perilously close to being viewed in the same light as Rico S, Redrooster and a few other 'consistent' types.
ill play the devils advocate here.. if sauerland were playing games, why did they fight miranda in the states..? why not fill a huge arena in germany and make alot more money..? the kessler signing, is hardly anything that sauerland could instigate, when the problems stems from, the tv-money out of the calzaghe fight.. so in my view there is nothing fishy about sauerlands actions, and neither pavliks..
Bias? I used to like Arthur, but his fans turned me against him. Over the past year a very harsh double standard has developed on ESB. It really started with the Abraham/Miranda rematch. AA needed 16 rounds over 2 fights to do what Pavlik did in 7 rounds. AA got promoted to boxing godhood, but it's only a so-so win for KP. This continued up through the Simon fight. Pavlik slapped the **** out of Rubio, and made him cry on his stool, but the word on ESB was "he looked like ****." Abraham loses 4-5 rounds to #43 ranked LuJaun Simon, and we are all suppose to beleive Simon was the undiscovered jewell of Philadelphia. Arthur has one of the worst resume's of any world titlist, but the same people who refuse to acknowledge that, constantly critisize Zertuche (a fomer Mexican Olympian) and Zuniga, who beat Oganov far more convincingly than Dirrell did. That's what pisse me off. The ever present double standard, along with the fact that no one ever questions the veracity of Sauerland's statements, and I have proven some of those to absolutely false many times.
God help ya son. If you are ever in the mood to be ripped apart on here, try telling AA fans that Pavlik ruined Miranda.
Pavlik will be fine at 160 because there are talented young fighters that will challenge him soon. He wasn't ready for 168 yet anyway and when he is, fighters like Bute will still be available.
You have 'proven' nothing, just making up far-fetched assumptions. Where is the prove that ARum/Pavlik made AA a fair offer? Where is that contract?
