No doubt Pavlik is the bigger draw in those 3.

Williams is an exciting fighter, but yea.. he absolutely does not have the drawing power of Pavlik

most african americans fighters have a hard time getting people in the seats and buying ppv... is not like european, mexican and puertorrican fighters that they always have a fan base that will pay to see their fights no matter what.. even when they dont have a chance to win they will buy the fight to support their fighter

That's true and I can't disagree with that because it has been proven countless times with other fighters in similar situations but this guy has been champion since 2007 and hasn't had a SINGLE PPV worth bragging about. Even his PPV with Hopkins did very poor despite all the hype and "excitement" people knew him for, which he obviously brings because of his lack of defense. We're 2010 now and he's still fighting bums without any half decent signs that he will have a decent title defense, even the rematch with Taylor wasn't a title defense and again I repeat this is 3 years later and I might as well say 4 because his plans this year remain **** poor as he calls the super middleweight tournament useless and meaningless.

Is this really worthy of a thread? It is like listening to the local drunk talking jibberish.

Blah de blah de blah, Pavlik is great.
Derp de derp de derp, Williams and Martinez are ****.
Blah de blah de blah, I have nothing intelligent to contribute.

    Change the ****ing record.

Bob Arum shut down the bars showing the Pavilk fight in his hometown because no one bought any tickets for the fight - some draw.
