Pavlik is the most overrated fighter in years.

No need to be thrown in a tizzy mate..I think Pavlik has a good chin...He takes a hell of beating without much trouble..if someone looses their legs after taking a shitload of punches, goes down for a one count and continues to fight on to a KO victory I wouldnt call his chin Iron or Glass however I will say its better than most..Not sure I understand how you give the distinction between a good chin and an Iron chin..Hmmm maybe if you gave me a list of champions that have a better chin than Pavlik I'll know how to gauge your reasoning with reality:good

 

KO wins over Miranda and Taylor show he is the real deal and not overrated....and he will KO Taylor again.

 

Could be but then again you like a champ that could actually "box".

Taylor really doesnt fit that mold too well.....way too inconsistent and honestly dull and boring.

And i respect Taylor outside of the ring he is classy he just cant put it all together when he needs to.

 

It's alright mate some people get distracted by Kellys ferocious punching power and ability to put good punches together leading to a KO so it can be easy for some people to miss the fact that Jermain Taylor was getting thoroughly outboxed by Pavlik(the only exception might be the 5th rd..thats it)However I did notice after watching the fight with Setanta commentators it seemed very biased in Taylors favor which is utterly rediculous..They acted like the KO came out of nowhereatsch ****ing dumb limey fruits..So all I can say is try to avoid yourelf the trouble of being manipulated by your commentators

 

if anybody is overrated, its the guy that Pavlik demolished in his last fight. Can't fault a guy for beating up Miranda and a physically gifted athlete in Taylor.

 

I still think Pavlik will face Calzaghe by the end of the year, a fight that he wont win imo.


And maybe a Kessler v Pavlik rivalry to happen at some point.

 

in my opinion, spinks outboxed taylor on May. the undercard of pavlik and miranda was infinitely more entertaining. i'm from the UK and Pavlik gets my vote. reminds me of gatti - a real crowd pleaser and seems like a great guy as well. in his corner at the end of the 2nd round he said 'he got me a good one' or something like that. he's as down to earth as they come but defo not over-rated.:hi:

Nopes . . . I don't think so. He is being regarded based on what he has accomplished and it will remain as is . . . until he got beaten.

I'm not discounting Taylor winning this time . . . but it's a very long shot. Pav has Taylor's number . . . and Taylor cannot change his fighting style just over night.

Taylor's only chance is another close decission win.:yep

pavlik overated or underated it does not matter.

what he is , is good for boxing .

he is in the blue ribbon divsion /is a very exciting fighter /is willing to face adversity to get his own punches off.

he has flaws , every single offensive fighter ever has ,or what people think of him, main thing is i want and look forward to seeing him fight because he is entertaining and long may he continue.
