i admire pavlik as a fighter and as a person.but if you honestly think he is going to be able to do that to hopkins then you are a fool.pavlik is making a massive career error by taking this fight with hopkins.

Pavlick's a fighter looking to test himself against the world's best.
He's no Oscar, Floyd or Roy handpicking opponents like a schoolgirl selecting the best blueberries. What fun is watching a fight with the winner almost guarenteed? Win or lose, fighting Hopkins is not a "massive career error". It's an elite fighter seeing what he can do with other elites.

I am not a Oscar fan by any stretch of the imagination ... but his career record is a who is who of the best fighters p4p for god knows how many years.
Can not compare him with Roy and Floyd.

All those fighters that Pavlik fought were come forward fighter ... none of whom got on their toes ... used angles ... used every part of the ring to their advantage ... would hold excessively ... would use dirty tactics ... uses the right hand alot ... were effective counter puncher

It will be a good win for Kelly, but don't rule out Hopkins.. he's a crafty mother ****er that will put up a hard fight against anyone between 160-175.

So again, why is it a dumb fight?
Tyson vs. Holmes was a much dumber fight if you look at the facts, yet Tyson got huge exposure by that fight, much like Kelly will get huge exposure by fighting Hopkins. Hopkins is a big name in USA.

I'm not comparing Hopkins to Holmes, Hopkins is a lucky ******* that claims to be an ATG, yet he never rumbled with the likes of Toney, McCallum, Barkley, Benn, Eubank or Watson.
