You're vastly under rating Bernard here... I agree that Kelly Pavlik is the truth, and I am leaning on a Pavlik UD, 116-114.

How is Hopkins no match for the champ from YTOWN, when he's provided a good fight for everybody he ever fought, including Jones Jr and Calzaghe :think
Who will be providing a better fight that isn't busy already?

 

Some fans will only be satisfied if Pavlik fights Wlad one night, and Godzilla the next. Late in an ugly fight Kelly will add Hopkins to the ever growing list of people who had never been stopped before. Afterward, instead of bigging BHop up the way people did after the Calzaghe fight, they'll say BHop is shot and had no business in the ring with a young champion in his prime. Count on it.

I think some people are seriously overrating Pavlik here. Fighting the likes of clueless Lockett and the mouthy Miranda is no set-up to fighting somebody like Popkins.

Kelly has a chance but i think Arum has made a mistake in setting up a fight against an experienced pro who has cunning, accuracy and one of the modern day kings of counter punching. Popkins UD
