    Well, let's not go overboard. It's only Jermaine Taylor he's going to destroy. Not like Taylor has been that impressive since HBO got him the title.

    Pavlik, however, will be impressive in destroying this hype job. No gift decisions THIS time! :nod

    Yes. And he better hope he knocks him cold too. If the HBO suits are able to revive him in time and it goes to the pre-written scorecards - fuggedabowtit!

    Pavlik would have to win every round to nick a split decision against HBOs darling.:yep

    I think more of Taylor then you do Zak, I think he is a gutty talented fighter with speed and skill. The first 5 rounds of this fight are going to be a war but bit by bit Pavlik will grind down Taylor to stop the champ in 9 brutal rounds.:bbb

    The best thing for boxing is a Pavlik win tonight the guys style is all action he can't be in a bad fight :bbb unlike Taylor who has be in stinkers:-(
    As for Taylors chin I think he has a good one after all never floored as a pro or amateur Kelly will KO him but it will late after Taylor has taken a lot of head and body shots:!:

    Pavlik is quite a fan friendly marketable proposition so maybe HBO would not be at all upset if he won a decision ie no help from HBO re a gift decision for Taylor

    I really don't see HBO favoring Taylor if fight goes to the cards after all Pavlik has making of a real superstar:happy for HBO unlike Hopkins or Winky who both boring fighters:tired

    Pavlik will NOT become a great tonight. He's still got a ways to go to achieve greatness.

    And as much as you hate Bernard Hopkins, he deserves to be up there with Hagler, Robinson, Monzon, and Greb...no if, ands, or buts about it.
