There is an article you won't see if you follow his hometown paper web site. This isn't listed under the /pavlik section. http://www.vindy.com/news/2008/jun/01/pavlik-on-fighting-fame-and-the-future/ This one is in the /pavlik section: http://www.vindy.com/news/2008/jun/01/mancini-pavlik-in-6-rounds-or-less/ I think they will be doing a 'runnup' to the Lockett fight. So, may be a 'one a day' deal. In one of these he mentions his favorite fighters. That may be of general interest.
  Now that was much more like it! The real Pav, instead of the PR practiced "perfect" guy you read so much on. That was good. "I've fought E. Miranda, and this guy is trying to act like he's some power puncher". That's the **** I want to read.
Pipe wrenched.. would you be the type of guy to interupt his dinner with his family to ask for a auto???:rofl :rofl
:think :think :think Honestly I don't know if I would or not. I'm pretty shy about that kind of ****, it seems corny. If the situation seemed like he was inviting that type of thing sure, but not if you could tell he was trying to not even make eye contact with the entire restauant. Would you interupt Sam Peter?
I've been around some decent profile type athletes, and for musicians I'd been around some guys signed to major lables and stuff, and experience tells me that just treating them like a normal human gets you a lot farther than running up like "OMGzzz!!" "You're like # 1"!!!!! every time.:yep In other words, people in that position seemed to be much more impressed to find out that indeed you know who they are, but were able to control your self and respect their space. It would be a real test of my character though, I tell ya that! LOL.
To me a autograph on a napkin is useless. I would wait till he was done and kindly go up and shake the man's hand.
“It’s been a really hard camp because of peoples’ mouths and because it’s my first title defense,” said Pavlik. I wonder if he's referring to both Loew and Enzo, or just Enzo. Also, I wonder if Loew's trash talking bothers Kelly because Jack didn't always come across as a loudmouth.
