He never intended to beat Bute. He just wanted to get a payday, what a slap in the face to all his die-hard supporters

You lot are clueless, 1.1 million is the type of money Berto was getting for knocking out bums on HBO, ditto Williams. Smart move by Kelly, it's all risk and reward people.

Disappointing news, I was going to see if any tickets were available today and was going to the fights on Saturday if there were. This is a bad move for Pavlik but I'll wait for the smoke to clear to see just how bad it is.

He probably should have gone through with his tune-up Saturday, he needed the rounds and if he was unhappy about the Bute purse he could have renegoitated or looked for another fight elsewhere. Maybe his pay for the Cunningham fight was also tied into the Bute fight and that effected this decision. But, as of right now, Pavlik has made a bad move and I hope his career doesn't permantently derail from here on out.

A slap in his face to his hometown, his fans, showtime, etc. Just terrible.

After doing this to Showtime, he'll be regulated to ESPN, maybe.

When Bute was in camp for Brinkley, I think, Glen was a sparring partner for Bute in Miami. He said that he never got hurt that bad since he started to boxe. So, since he's now 42 and on the decline. I don't see the positive impact that fight will have on Bute's resume. It will give all of you ( his haters) every reason to go on with the dissing and moaning...****ing S6.

Bring on someone with balls and a pulse. I want to see Bute against the best before he grows grey hair. Is that too much to ask....
