Enigma here. Did we see what we wanted to see in the Froch fight? Froch is still pretty damned slow. Dirrell looked like a damned matador in there with him. He did all but wave a red cape, yell "OLE!" and run him into the ring post. Of course we have seen Americans do that to Brits before. :yep Taylor still had some of his speed and some of his confidence left in the Froch fight after Lacy. It all seemed to be gone against Abraham. And two last second KO's? That ghost is going to follow him into any fight he has now if he goes on. Sadly it sounds like he might for the money. :-(

Even if we give you these points, there are ways to beat the high guard. JT had to know the jab, jab, jab to the gloves weren't going to do it. Also it is hard to work his body when all AA has to do is look at the ref and indicate low blow and the ref obliges with a warning. The belt is not 'below' the belt. (someone said AA was wearing his trunks to high but I could see his damned belly button).

I started saying about a year ago that AA/KP should take place at 168 because AA was having trouble at MW. Took a lot of **** for it too. Am I vindicated? :D

even if we  what the hell? who are you guys?:nut

JT saw a weight drained AA getting his guard penetrated by Oral and figured he could do the same. But those 8 pounds make a difference. You could see AA was stronger. There are ways to beat the high Guard but as JT showed you against a lot weaker fighter in Winky Wright he had no answer for it. Even in his prime.

His 'shape' wasn't the problem. He lost that confidence that is needed at that level.
