Pavlik last month, Dawson this month, Which American champ will it be next month?

    Only last month every article on Calzaghe mentioned a future fight with Pavlik but since Hopkins beat him Dawson's name is being used. Why should Calzaghe fight a guy who has done nothing to be a top p4p fighter and someone he would get a landslide victory against?

    why not? it was Calzaghe's win over Lacy that propelled him up the ranks. So a win over another hype job surely wouldn't hurt!

    I can't understand why Calzaghe's biggest fans don't want him to fight these guys. If you're his fans, you should be calling for this fight too.

    Im a Calzaghe fan, and id rather he was the one to batter dawson, than give it to someone else. I'm not as confident as some that shaw fancies the idea of sending his prize asset over to the UK to get a beating tho.
