This ESB newb. You either have to over rate him or under rate him. Objectivity is not tolerated. :deal

Exactly. The guy was not competitive for one second and was taken out by a punch that Kelly admits was not THAT hard. Well, at least from his perspective. THAT is the point. He timed a pin point LEFT and he has enough power to make guys think about it if it lands.

You will be disgraced and exposed when this thread is bumped in the future. Last night Pavlik looked pretty sharp, he can definitely get back to world title level :deal

He would make Chavez Jr his ***** if he can make 160 again (not out of the question). At SMW he'd annihilate the likes of Steiglitz and box circles around Abraham and Froch. Pavilk Bute would be a great fight even now. Could he shatter Ward's fragile chin?

    Pavlic looked Great.
    Great left hook.
    Pretty decent jab.
Your opinion means nothing because you know nothing.

2nd round knockout on his first fight in a while is not a bad showing.

I don't know. Bernard is great, but he also handpicks guys after he sees a weakness he can exploit. And Pavlik is not great enough to get much better than his Jermaine Taylor days or Miranda days. He will always have a chance to win if he is in a brawl and can land his punches. I would love to see him fight Arthur Abraham.

That fight wasn't supposed to show much. It's just part of getting back on track. Shaking the ring rust. He did what he had to do and looked ok doing it. Nothing spectacular, but definitely nothing to criticise, either.

I'm pretty convinced he'll never reach the same heights as before, but, him getting a new trainer and finding his way back into the ring, is a huge victory in itself. Kelly's a cool guy and I'd like nothing more than for him to prove us all wrong. Best of luck to him.

I don't give a **** what your "record in predicting/breaking down fights" is, this thread is ****ing horrid and whether you are or not makes you look like a ****ing dumbass. Pavlik looked fine, and what he does going forward has no bearing in this thread, In which you state "he looked bad versus a bum". How exactly did he "look bad", he wasn't hit and TKO'd the dude in 4 mins?

can't judge **** based on this fight but I have my doubts that Pavlik will ever get back to championship level and at his best in his prime I feel he was overated and still think Sergio beats any version of Pavlik.
