Hopefully, Pavlik can comeback and be a force yet again. Let's hope that B-Hop...and I guess if you want to throw in Martinez, didn't ruin him for good.

i was really dissapointed in Pavlik for a while, after the Martinez fight. I knew he liked to drink. Lots of locals thought he looked hung over in the Martinez fight. I wasnt going to watch him fight agian. I can now say that i am PROUD of Pavlik. I hope he keeps his sobriety and i hope that he kicks some ass real soon. I will be watching

I really am not a hater just saying it as I see it.I think it would be great for boxing if he comes back strongly I hate to play the race card but American boxing needs a white working class star and Kelly especially with his faults fits the bill perfectly. My problem is in seeing who he beats smw is a tough division right now and Kellys phyisical advantages disappear at this weight I wish him well but fear for him to:good

If Pavlik trains hard and stays off the booze he can come back.

I was going to leave that pic from the Taylor fight alone, but now that you mention it:patsch:patsch

There are lots of pics around that one could use to make KP look bad. Jacory Harris chose one from a fight where KP knocked out the undefeated, undisputed middleweight champion of the world!! The boy just ain't all that bright.

Sorry, should have said it in the post.

    Lance Pugmire tweet:

Kelly Pavlik is training and will return to the ring in a 168-pound fight May 7 on Pacquiao undercard vs. TBA, Mgr. Cameron Dunkin says. 1:26 PM Jan 14th via ÜberTwitter

Thanks -- I wondered because there was a rumour about that date, but no confirmation. I'm a recovered alcoholic, a life long boxing fan, and ESB's #1 Pavlik nuthugger, so I just hope he stays sober, and follows through.

I was going to shut up but f4ck it. You for months and months have been bashing on Martinez making excuses after excuses that the reason why Martinez beat up Pavlik is cause Pavlik came in heavy. Well the reason Pavlik ko both Miranda and Taylor cause both of those fighters was weight drain killing themself to make weight.

You want to make excuse of the reason why Pavlik lost to Hopkins and Martinez? Well i can also make excuse as to why Pavlik ko both Miranda and Taylor.

You are obviouslly a bandwagon piece of sh4t Pavlik fan.

You may be able to say a lot of things about Boo, but being a bandwagon Pavlik fan is NOT one of them.

I think its much too early for Pavlik to enter the ring. He needs to stay clean for a few months, like Hopkins said: "It's not what you've done in the last 8 weeks, but in the last two years that matters".

Pavlik's been on an alcohol binge, for him to step up already and get back on the horse could prove to be a mistake.

I hope he reconsiders entering the ring within the nearest 4-5 months.
