I don't understand the counter argument of " WHY DOES EVERY FIGHTER HAVE TO COME TO AMERICA TO PROVE THEMSELVES WHY DON'T THEY COME TO ENGLAND"? The best fighters fight in AMERICA, the most talent is in AMERICAN boxing, how can you not see that? Major league baseball is the pinnacle of baseball in the entire world, all the world's talent wants to play for the MLB, same goes for BOXING. The united states houses the most talented fighters on the planet, that is where everyone comes to see how good they really are.

You only have two recognised number 1's in a division in Kelly Pavlik and Nate Campbell. Miguel Cotto could possibly count with him being Puerto Rican ( idont knowhow the PR's would feel).

Us British with our small nation have the same amount in Calzaghe and Hatton.

After talking about the Lockett fight for most of the article Warren then goes on to state: "Pavlik now wants a fight with Calzaghe - and it has the makings of a huge event."

Sounds like the wheels are now in motion for the fight:good

Ok fair enough that wasn't the fight boxing wanted to see. know this is the fight that boxing wants to see. you haven't got a clue.so pavlik "looked spectacular" against the mighty gary lockett as a result calzaghe's ducking him.what planet you on? also kessler was a harder fight for calzaghe than pavlik would be.i like pavlik but his camp are not exactly tripping over themselves to fight calzaghe.they keep saying this about calzaghe duck,duck,duck change the record, hugger.
