Pavlik/Margarito at a catchweight?

At what catchweight?Pavlik cant go lower than 160 and at 160 Margarito cant take a punch like at 147.Easy Pavlik KO

The main part of Margarito's game is the bullying.

His punch resistance, workrate, inbuilt power and natural weight advantage over the rest of the WW's aids him with this style. At the top level he's not a one-punch KO artist; instead he sickens and demoralises an opponent into defeat.

Even at a catchweight (which Pavlik couldn't make - so its hypothetical in the extreme) he throws most of his advantages away. Margarito gets busted up badly by Pavlik, and I could see a RSF decision with Margarito getting pulled out in the mid rounds.

 

At a 159 catchweight I ould favor Pavlik 99 percent. Each pound under that it would start goin g down by 20 percent each pound.

 

What about Haye Vs Khan - all british clash at a catch weight? Sorry - i'll get my coat

 

Pavlik would back Margarito up and eventually dish out a hefty dose of whiplash treatment, then Margarito goes to sleep

i know all these mythical matchups started regards to margo's chin but no way he will still have that indestructible chin at a higher weight. Pavlik is even a big middleweight..i can see pavlik knocking him out middle rounds
