Delighted for Martinez, god i love an upset.

Fair play to Pavlik, he was very humble in defeat, classy guy, feel bad for him

You think? Cintron and Pavlik; yeah. But I felt Williams edged their fight, if anything it makes me think of him more highly, mainly because I've never rated Pavlik too highly.

Then again, you do have Kell Brook in your top ten British welters :good

Got up at three to watch Bute beat Miranda and then Martinez win on points as I predicted. Real pleased for Martinez, he did a great job. Still not convinced by Bute, he's doing a good job of stopping lesser opposition. Lets see him fight an elite level fighter and win. Then I'll start to be impressed.

Agreed, although his stoppage of Andrade was very impressive IMO, due to Librado's perceived durability and the quick manner in which it was achieved.

However, with the Super Six, only Bika remains for Bute to make an impression against.

Yeah, he's looking good, but I'm not yet convinced it isn't just an illusion. Like you say, it's gonna be a while before there's anyone of that level for Bute to prove himself against. Good in some ways for Bute. Perhaps he could fight Pavlik or unification against Stieglitz. Even these fights wouldn't ptove much though and I can't see Bute or Stieglitz leaving the protection of their respective countries.

Are you back from Thailand yet?

Well pleased for MArtinez, hopefully he will get a good placing in the P4P table now (Dare I say it even get Hopkins knocked down a place or 2 finally)
