The opportunities were there to take the same path taken by Vic and Mick Katz but the bottom line is, why risk it when the money is right here.

:nono Mundine's last half dozen fights have done him no favours at all.

Struggling to convincingly beat anyone will show out IF he EVER fights a TRUE champ.

We all know it wont happen... so he may as well keep on sparring and preparing to make SSSSSS and no significance on the international scene.

Mundine would have to beat every opponent in the States by 8 rounds to even get a draw. For Mundine, as it is for his opponents here, the biggest hurdle will be getting past the judges.

 

No substitute for actually being in there fighting at the highest level you can to battle harden yourself up for World class opposition , you and i both know that as well .

I think mundine would have to fight the echols fight plan against pavlik - hit and hold or hit and move but stay of the ropes like he does sometimes. We all know he's good for 12 rounds at middleweight and if he fights his fight then its an easy nights work against a double jab right hand robot.

He's been hit by super middleweights so pavlik wont be that hard, his sparring would be crucial - not a fight from 3 months before
