Yeah and this fight was "made" right :rofl

Mundine looks like the one Pavlik will fight....Sturm wont leave Germany...Martinez will stay at 154.

Flash in the pan eh !!!
Most boxers would kill to have a record like Pavlik's. 98 amateur fights 36-1-0 [ 32 ko's ] in the pros against some good opposition. Tall for a middleweight long reach and tough with a 7 year age advantage on Mundine. We haven't seen the best of Pavlik yet . Hopefully we've just about seen the last of Mundine.
I don't believe this fight will ever get made, " The Pioneer " should be thankful for that.

Pavlik would make short work of Mundine.

If Crazy Kim can rattle Mundines cage, then Pavliks
power would be far too much for Mundine, early
stoppage would be the order of the day.

Where would you rate the following fighters power?

    Echols
    Green
    Kessler
    Pavlik

For pure punching power probably Echols (primish version) tops that list.

But having power is one thing and being able to land with it is another.

Why do people post on here acting like they have some boxing knowledge but then mention ottke, kessler and siaca.
The nearest of those fights being 5 years or so ago shows nothing about his ability in 2010.
Sure he isnt knocking out opponents like before, but as long as he wins on points who cares.
Its no different than green loosing to beyer, the smashing rjj in 122 seconds.
If we based all greens current ability on what he looked like when he lost to beyer then how did he destroy rjj like that.
One or two losses doesnt mean its over or that mundine has lost anything other than timing.

    You are right.

Mundine has not fought a significant opponent for 5 years.

He hasnt fought a world champion perhaps is closer to the truth, but that doesnt mean he has lost anything.
Its hypothetical until it happens,if it happens

His best fight in this period IMO was the demolition of Soliman. But even as a huge Mundine fan you must be disappointed that his international opponents in this second half of his career could probably be considered 'insignificant'?
