Floyd would have to take stick and move to an entirely new level. I'm not gonna say it would be impossible for Floyd to pull it off, but it is for damn sure improbable.

Floyd gets brutally KO'd theres NO DOUBT and thats why it never happens.

 

This thred is stupid, FLOYD is intelligent enough to avoid Pavlik because he knows he would be seriously injured or hurt, Pavlik at 6-2 would tower over the 5-8 FM and every shot Pavlik landed would do some serious internal damage, forget about it..:-(

 

I'm a big Pav. fan and would favor him but I would not count Floyd out. Conn almost pulled it out against Louis, and Louis > Pavlik and Floyd > Conn. Calz. would be a tougher task for Floyd than Pav. Calz. skills, speed and, in this case power, would be too much for Floyd.

 

Just watch the Duran vs Barkley fight. It's certainly possible, and I can't see Pavlik landing consequtive flush shots on PBF.

 

And just exactly what weight would it be at??

 

I would assume they would want Pavlik at 147 so he would be emaciated and nearly dead.

 

If Mayweather didn't want anywhere near Antonio Margarito or Paul Williams there is little reason to think he will go anywhere near some with the size and power of Pavlik. This is one fight Mayweather CAN'T win! Pavlik would reign bombs down on Mayweather from the outside until he was crushed.

Well Roberto Duran gave a close fight to Marvin Hagler.

 

I once made a thread about Taylor vs. Mayweather, when Taylor was champ. I was laughed at. But I think that Mayweather beats both of them, and stamps himself as the second greatest fighter of all time with that win.
