    Camp was 6 weeks for Rubio. Pavlik/Mora tickets are now available, and KP acted like it's a done deal.

    Prior to his championship win, Pavlik went on record as saying anything over 6 weeks was detrimental because you started tearing yourself up too much. After his win, he started camps earlier. After Bhop, he went back to the original. Thought he was just being too hard on himself in camp and needs recover time between hard sessions. That said, he could be training/prepping. I don't know what he does between camps, but I would think he gets some work in anyhow. Still, if this isn't inked soon.....

    This has come up before. Secondary outlets will take your money at anytime? Are they up at Ticketmaster?

    I've mentioned this before. Sturm is the guy with the most about of leeway in terms of resume right now.

    As per Pavlik needing two or three "soft" opponents after The Hopkins fight, I don't necessarily know how I feel about that. What's to say it stops at two? Arum might say "Well Kelly still isn't back yet" and he starts calling for more of these kinda fights.

    I think it's just frustration with the majority of us. We have three star MWs who seem to be circling AROUND one another but not comitting to a fight. Pavlik, Abraham and Sturm all seem up for it...yet here we are now a year later still waiting for the same fights to be made. I understand patience but I also understand missing the moment. Arum and Abraham's people are coming awfully close to that.

    If mickeyc says that Pavlik/Abraham are negotiating for November, that is as close to the table as we mortals will get.

    I'll believe it when I read about it on ESB the day after the fight :lol:

    You CAN believe the negotiations are going on. They do sound "tough" though. KP said OTG that he wondered how serious the Saurland folks are. Since he won the title folks think they should both get a shot at this title and be able to retire off the proceeds of the fight. Especially post Bhop his earning power had dropped. HBO holds the keys to this one probably.

    In retrospect, HBO probably went a little overboard with Pavlik/Lockett seeing it as a build up to Pavlik/Calzaghe. I think it set up some unrealistic expectations. Now HBO has backed off their support for Pavlik it would seem.

    I agree with most of this. And on the other side, we do not know how AA will perform against Lorenzo. His weight issues are well known, and if Lorenzo does as well as Simon, KP/AA is off.

    i agree about the aa/lorenzo fight....im torn now about it actually. i want to see aa/pav out of principle since its been out there for so long it needs to happen for that reason alone. part of me tho wants to see pav/williams. i feel he would beat both but the williams fight is beginning to interest me more than aa.

    Pavlik - Mora a done deal. Just talked with MikeyC. It will be in the papers tomorrow morning. Back to AC baby!!!
