Pavlik MUST leave Youngstown for his own good, Ulli Wegner & Germany would be nice!

According to Big Bone, Pavlik should move to Germany and fight under Uli Wegner.

Let's see how that works:

Move to a foreign country and fight guys like LuJaun Simon, Mahir Oral, Elvin Ayala, and Wayne Elcock for, if he's lucky, $500K a pop.

Or,

Stay home and earn multi million dollar paydays fighting guys like Wiliams and Bute at Boardwalk Hall and MSG, and of course promote and help operate his restaurant between fights.

Boy, that sounds like a tough choice:think

 

Pavlik uses his jab about 5 different ways. If you don't see that, you're not even close to being the analysist I thought you were.

Personally I think we should wait until a middleweight manages to go 12 rounds with KP before we start talking about giving him to the guy who trained the fighter that allowed Shannon Taylor and LuJaun Simon to last 12.

 

Throw lots of punches, that's how Calzaghe beat him.

Make me a list of every fighter who lasted more than 9 rounds with Pavlik, and if your list impresses me, we'll talk about necassary changes.

 

I can't imagine him in Germany, too much cultural difference. I do agree that a new trainer, some new thoughts could refresh things. His career has hit a stumbling block with injuries etc, now seems a good time.

 

His immune system is ****. He would go to Germany and get some ole crazy diease we never heard of and that would be the end of his career.

 

Then why does Jack Loew now say "There's no way I let my fighter go into a ring unless he's 100% healthy"?

 

It is obvious that you place more emphasis on rumours and gossip than you place on facts. I've posted the known time line ten times, and their simply wasn't time for KP to miss even one doctor appointment, let alone the rumoured three.

Distractions? Ya -- I guess the birth of a child, the negotiations of a new promotional contract that gives Pavlik more control, and the opening of a multi-million dollar restaurant are all just terrible things that KP's team shouldn't have allowed.

Guys, Germany is actually a very nice place to live. I know a lot of foreigners (even from US) who really like it here.

I don't know if Wegner would be the right coach for KP - or if KP is the right fighter to be trained by Wegner. But to train in Germany and to fight in the US is perfectly possible.

How do you get 3 times for Williams? Haymon screwed it up last year, and it had nothing to do with Pavlik, or Williams.

This time Pavlik moved forward on the word of his ****ing Doctor, and the doctor was wrong. How anyone can blame that on any member of Team Pavlik is beyond me.

 

A change of trainer isn't going to help Pavlik, and the hate will keep piling on until he puts on a performance fitting of the middleweight champion of the world
