Any fan that wishes death for ANY fighter is a homosexual emo loser. This is a brutal sport and as we hate/support certain guys NO ONE wishes death for anyone in a sport where these guys don't know if they come out dead, paralyzed or disabled mentally/physically permanently.

Williams just wants the fight, nothing else. Like Abraham wanted it and was ignored for pathetic reasons.

 

Abraham fought the likes of the club fighter Lujuan Simon (who took him the distance) and Mahir Oral. Both of those guys were voluntary (not mandatory) defences plucked from the 30s and 40s in the rankings. Abraham and Pavik have both convincingly beaten Taylor. You can't really use that as a point of comparison, though, if you insist, I'd note that Pavlik beat a much better version of Taylor than AA fought (not that it would have affected the outcome) and decisively ran over Miranda in 7 rounds, dominating him from start to finish: it didn't take him two fights.

I really fail to see how you can criticise someone when the only two fights that they've chosen since becoming champ have been Bernard Hopkins 10 pounds above your comfort zone and Paul Williams. Mayorga was one of the options that HBO approved and Pavlik rejected. There were never even discussions about fighting Mayorga! If it weren't for him, the Williams fight would never have even been discussed, let alone arranged. Your boy, on the other hand, doesn't just consider but actually fights people picked from two weight divisions below!

 

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt rather than slap you straight on ignore, here. Lockett and Rubio were MANDATORIES. Do you know what that word means, *****? It means you HAVE to fight them to keep your belts.

 

The same people cut down Vitali and Vlad for fighting their mandatories.

 

Bernard Hopkins' first title defence was against Steve Frank (who?). People don't seem to realise that mandatory defences aren't usually competitive!

 

The problem with the Pavlik fans(Ghost Riders) is that rather admit where fault/flaw is in Team Pavlik and try and debate that they proceed to make excuses and or bring up miscellaneous things that have nothing to do with inside the ring!!

When you bring up the KP vs Bhop fight their first response is to bring up/or post KP's medical doc's or pictures of some random rotten hand!! Rather than admit styles make fights and it didn't matter what version of KP was in the ring because he would have still lost to Bhop, they find excuses why he lost/ not a reason why he could have won though!!

After you prove them wrong with the fact that KP couldn't/can't beat Bhop they proceed to call u names and threaten to ignore!!

Pavlik risks getting ruined.

 

Pavlik's having a rough time of it and i feel for the guy but the fans are getting impatient and want to see some boxing, it's been a while since we had a meaningfull Title fight in the Middleweight division and for the good of the sport they should strip the Title's and give Pavlik "Champion Emeritus" status, that way we can have someone fight for the interim Titles and when Pavlik gets healthy he can come back and reclaim them.

 

Not long ago people were praising this young fighter as the new face of boxing, it was rare to have a young white American Champion which would bring boxing back to the forefront, then the Hopkins fight part 1 of the fall from grace...a typical thing in boxing,now we have the cancellations due to the infection part 2. People are skeptical especially boxing fans, many will doubt if Pavlik will get back to the top again and it is justified, but you wonder if the boxing Gods have decided that he had his shot and now it has ended.

 

IMO I feel KP should give up the titles until he is healthy, let to guys fight for them and when he comes back he gets first chance at tryin to regain them!!

Second time. Provide a link on this or STFU! Arum called Mayorga a 'possiblility' along with a dozen other names. If I recall it was a name thown at him at a press conference, not one he even brought up. So one more time, PUT UP OR SHUT UP on this one. I follow Kelly's career closer than you do and I never heard Mayorga as a real possibility. Sad. You are becoming a pathetic poster just to hate on Pavlik. Very sad indeed.

 

So the likes of Duddy and Lee can have titles? Really, who is even a close second to Pavlik right now? Has he missed a mando? Not happening because there is NO ONE that can bring in the MONEY Pavlik can for the ABC's. They will make more on a once every 18 month defence on Pavlik than anyone else will bring in fighting 4 times a year. There is no other name at MW right now. Well, Maybe Sturm but they would have trouble getting the belts back from him and they don't list him because he champions a competing orginization.
