    Or someone else.

Lowe has taken him as far as he could but Kelly needs to go in a different direction and regroup.

He should try a different trainer for sure, however, I'm not sure how much more you can squeeze out of Pavlik. IMO he has already capitilized on all of his positive attributes, which weren't world class to begin with. Look, when you're this slow and predictable at that weight, you're going to have problems with top fighters.

I've been saying this for years. Steward could do wonders with the kid, but I was called a hater for suggesting such change. For the sake of Kelly's career, which is far from being over, I hope the Team will finally realize what's the best for their fighter. Get him Manny!

Pavlik just isn't a world class boxer.

Why in Christ name does everyone think Manny can be the savior of any fighter?

I disagree, Pavlik IS a good boxer, a very good boxer with a solid pedigree. His footwork is weak, he's not real good at cutting of the ring and he needs to work on counter-punching much more. I DO think that Manny or another bigtime trainer COULD do well for Pavlik if that's what he wanted. But the question begs, does Kelly really want to fight anymore? Is that competitive edge still there? Not sure, it sure didn't look like he wanted to be there tonight.....

Noticed the same thing, after the cut, it seemed like he wanted the fight to end, props to him for going the distance though.

I don't know if he needs Steward in particular, but he definitely needs to change his trainer. It's obvious by now that Loew can't help him at this level.
