IMO, Pavlik lacks confidence in himself.
(He needs a trainer that will convince him, Not demand it)

That said I don't see Kelly leaving Lowe, Unless Jack steps down.

    Roach anyone?

After Pavlik KOed Taylor, Steward went to Pavlik and told him how great he was, etc. but he was probably hoping Pavlik would think about hiring him.

Pavliks negativity between rounds shocked me.
His confidence has gone and his game needs to be dismantled and built again.
He is still a young guy and I think that Manny could work wonders with him.

Not sure why people are so surprised about Pavlik. You guys forgot how he looked against Hop? Pavlik loses to any speedy top 5 fighter that doesn't brawl toe-to-toe with him. Steward can't change that.

the problem is kelly has been fighting the same way since he was a kid, im not sure if could ever handle slick fighters that use lateral movement.hes a one trick poney to be honest.
i just thought he has faced to bad style matchups.

What Pavlic needs is for Hopkins to take him to one of the gyms in Philly and instill some "soul" in him by using movement and defense.

Similiar to the way Apollo Creed (Hops) took the one dimensional plodder Balboa (Pavlic) to his gym.

IMO Steward is PERFECT for Kelly. He does wonders will taller fighters and IMO could really help bring Kelly's boxing skill to the level it needs to be

I think it was proven with Taylor and Cintron that the problem wasn't Manny. 99.9% of boxer take a loss. Lee's career isn't over because of his loss. I look at Manny's body of work and the guys that he trained were better fighters because of his tutelage. Look at Roach, Nazim and the rest. Every fighter that they train aren't champions. How can Manny be overrated?
