    He couldn't cut of the ring ,walk the cleary smaller man down etc etc ..Props to Martinez but Pavlik just looked so fundimenatlly confused !

    What Pavlic needs is for Hopkins to take him to one of the gyms in Philly and instill some "soul" in him by using movement and defense.

    Similiar to the way Apollo Creed (Hops) took the one dimensional plodder Balboa (Pavlic) to his gym.

    no, he is limited athletically. If he was better with timing maybe he could beat guys like Martinez.

    Paul Williams is the boxer who would most benefit from Steward. Under his Stewardship :blurp he could become an all time great. His physical advantages and athleticism would make him near impossible to defeat with the right style.

    Nah in the mid rds he was doing his thing ..It really has to do with a good corner ..Fighters can be taught to make the right adjustements ..Pavlik has plenty of learning left ..I never thought of him as too athletic to begin with ..What works for him is height and range..His power is always the added bonus .
