    Now why would he take 5 from roy jones, when he could get 10 from pavlik? BECAUSE HE KNOWS PAVLIK WOULD BEAT HIM!!!!!!




    Joe Calzaghe is being offered a final £10million payday to face middleweight king Kelly Pavlik.
    Pavlik, who fights Calzaghe's stablemate Gary Lockett tonight at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall, wants the Welshman next.
    Pavlik's promoter Bob Arum is speaking to Frank Warren about arranging a showdown between the two unbeaten champions on November 15 in what could be Calzaghe's last fight.
    Wbc and WBO title holder Pavlik is prepared to step up to super-middleweight to take on the undisputed king of 168lbs, although he would prefer the fight to be in America.
    "Joe Calzaghe is one of our generation's greatest champions," said the American. "He's a fighter who seems to get better as he gets older. He is a true great and I certainly wouldn't mind challenging him."

    It didn't stop them making up lies about THEIR OWN BRITISH SOLDIERS, so why wouldn't they lie about a measly boxer?

    I believe everything they say ever. I know they tell the truth, calzaghe is ducking witter, he was offered £11million to fight him, I think I read it in the sport.

    By the way, you'd be surprised, Calzaghe isn't a big star here really. Hatton and Khan are the crossover stars.

    It might be true but The Mirror should be called The Lier. It's a paper with zero credibility.

    If they said the sun was hot and the pacific ocean was wet, I'd still want another source.
