at this point i see Abraham as the strongest at 160....Pavlik is really a super middle and has to drain himself alot to make 160....Abraham would catch Pavlik, and Abraham is physically stronger with a literally titanium chin....Abraham TKO 6 Pavlik
Dont make me laugh, mate! AA doesnt have the style nor the skill to be competetive with Pavlik,eh?? You must think that AA is a bum or a limited journeyman in order to write nonsense like the above one. AA has never been knocked down or knocked out in his entire pro career up to now.He fought 7 rounds with a broken jaw against Miranda.Nonetheless, you jester thinks that it will be over within 8 rounds,eh!! A no-hoper like Edson Mardrid went 8 rounds with Kelly, and so did the journeyman Ivory a few years ago. AA in the same league with Mardrid and Ivory?????? Besides apart from Taylor AA has fought the better opposition up to now. Kelly scored victories over the shot Bronco McKart, the limited journeyman Zertuche, and a harmless Brit named Garry Lockett. Kelly also beat Miranada, but so did AA. The Armenian would have murdered his totally overrated Colombian foe in their first encounter anyway somewhere between round 5 and 8 if he hadnt suffered a broken jaw. Kelly's only decent skalp besides Taylor's one is Zuiniga who plays in the same league with Gevor. All in all AA has faced the far better opposition with the exception of Taylor. We still dont know whether Kelly has Taylor's number or not. I for my part think that AA will defeat Kelly but I wont bet any money on the Armenian. My gut feeling tends to tell me that once AA has connnected with one of his powershots the game is over for Kelly, but my gut feeling has been wrong quite a couple of times. I dont know, but I somehow believe that Taylor is more difficult nut to crack for AA than the higher rated Pavlik. Styles make fights. Kelly's style suits AA well. The same cant be said about Taylor's style IMO.
True in the fact that Kelly will eventually move up to SMW, but not true that he has to drain himself every time out. He was sitting at 163 a week before the fight. No sauna, no fat-suit. Now that he is Champ, his workouts have intensified. His core strength is getting stronger every time out.
Abraham is a bad ass KO artist , Abraham is has the style and ring smarts of Winky Wright Only he has punching power.
I totaly agree that Abraham is no walk in the park and do feel Pavlik would need to bring his A game to win that one. But I totally disagree when you say that Abraham has had the better opposition...Not even close ! The opposition always kept getting better for Pavlik from Mckart-Zertuche-Zuniga-Miranda and Taylor twice ! Gevor in the same league as Zuniga ? Abraham has skills and could beat Pavlik but he needs to increase his output or he will suffer a beatdown !
Arthur somehow managed to avoid Zuniga, and fight the great Elvin Ayala! McKart fought a draw against Marquez in his last outing. McKart is shot???? But no one has a problem with Arthur fighting Marquez???? That's called hypocrisy!!!
Miranda - bum/blown-up, over-the hill-light middlweight - Pavlik. This is a tune up fight (and AA's mandatory), sir.
You're being ridiculous here, this is a fight Abraham HAS to take, it's his mandatory and Pavlik is looking to fight Mora next. I personally have no problem with Pavlik fighting Lockett, the man had 3 major fights straight after another, 1 easy in between is only logical and normal. Those guys will fight, if both win their next fights this fight will be on, both clearly want it.
Scar -- Mora is out, Duddy is out, Griffin is out, Williams is out, and HBO isn't interested in Rubio. The word is that Winky is being more reasonable about money, and Pavlik/Wright may happen!!!!!:happy I'm fully aware that Marquez is Arthur's mandatory. Marquez "exposed" Lorenzo and got himself a title shot; good for him. The fact remains that McKart just fought a draw with Marquez, and people keep acting as if Pavlik handing Bronco his first ever KO loss means nothing. It is also true that Zuniga should have got his shot when he was scheduled to fight an eliminator, but somehow AA ended up avoiding him and fighting Ayala.
