    agreed...from a technical point of view AA is not in the same league as Pav...but he is a tough guy with heavy hands and he fights very clever. 50/50
    Pav by decision, AA by KO.

    Are you kidding me? Arum said that he used to promote Marquez and would do nothing to stop him from getting his title shot i.e. step aside money. Kelly would fight AA in his back yard tomorrow-just like any other fighter make the money right. Pavlik is the draw in this fight, so he dictates the terms. They already have an 09 showdown in the works, so ducking him is laughable! AA is 5'9" if Pavlik peppers him with the jab this could get ugly. AA imploys the turtle shell defense, that could get ugly as well to let KP bang on you suicide! Arum is having discussions with anyone and everyone around MW, but they all wnt the payday of a lifetime to fight KP, so you tell me whose ducking who?

    Scar --- Humor me for a moment. What if Pavlik beat Wright and Abraham? Excluding the meaningless fights, in 3 1/2 years Pav would have fought and beat:

    Zuniga
    McKart
    Miranda
    Taylor x2
    Wright
    Abraham

    How do you think the boxing community would view Pavlik at that point?

    Pavlik is the draw in this fight,eh? Is that really so?? American tv can pay a lot of bucks.Thats for sure! But AA is a big draw in Germany where he doesnt earn any peanuts either.
    Generally spoken, you can earn more money in Germany than in the USA nowadays. No surprise that even American heavies like McCline try to get a contract with a German promoter.#

    Anyway! AA vs Pavlik will be one of the biggest fights out there.Therefore both fighters should earn a great sume of money when fighting each other in the ring. I very much hope that this fight can really be made-irrespective of the location.

    That is why this fight hasn't happened yet. Arum doesn't believe it will get the purse it will deserve AND HBO has it penciled in for late January. There was originally talk of AA and KP being on the same card for their next bouts to build interest, but that looks like it won't happen now. If the Pavlik/Wright fight comes off AND it gets the proper promotion, the KP/AA fight should be a big draw.
