Unfortunately you are absolutely correct. Quite few posters on this board care more about trash-talking and money-flashing than the entertainment provided inside the ring.

 

You have to wonder...are some more interested in the manly art of self defense, or the hero worship of primative, third world , gangstas?

 

He sleeps on his parents couch when he trains, I think he's just trying to keep everything normal.

 

He should also duck worthy fighters to fight Ricky Martin.

True. However,I don't see many posters glorifying those type of characterisitics. I do however, see many posters completely trash fighters because they don't like what they do outside of ring; all the while completely ingoring the fighters in ring accomplishments.

Yes. That's his new thing now. Ramshall doesn't post with logic when talking about Floyd. He just repeats the same thing over and over. When you bring in facts, he doesn't care, you are wrong.


Anyway, this thread is about Pavlik.

Pavlik is just trying to keep everything normal, I think he's a great guy. I wonder if he'd sleep on the floor before moving to the bed.

 

Exactly, accomplishments and entertainment value at least for me. I did not say they are "glorifying" but what I meant is that there are so many posters that claim just because a fighter is either too-intelligent or too respectful towards other fighters, does not talk trash and does not flash with money, he has a very little apeal to their liking, despite of his performances and achievements.

I'm a Taylor guy, but I have nothing against Pavlik. He's a blue collar, tough as nails kind of guy. Both guys are gonna bring tomorrow, can't wait.

 

Pavlik likes to keep things simple, he's a jeans t shirt kind of dude, without the Bling, fancy car's probaly shops at Wal Mart...
