“That would be ... one of the biggest statements of the last 40 years in boxing,” Pavlik

Hopkins is 43 years old. It would not be the kind of statement Pavlik is suggesting it would be - though it would be a big deal.

i honestly cant see pavlik beating hopkins even at his ripe old age.
pavlik is made for a counter puncher, and thats what hop is the best at.

I see stopping Hopkins purely because Hopkins hasn't got the stamina to go 12 hard rounds with a hard hitting volume puncher. Of course that's because Hopkins is ancient now and the only statement it makes is that father time gets everyone eventually.

Hope he's not pre-occupied with the notion. Its better to just let it happen, instead of trying to MAKE it happen.

Whatever. Hopkins will still gas out under the constant pressure & KP will jump all over him.

too bad, he's not gonna land enough to hurt bhop, the question will be if hopkins can be just active enough to steal it

i concur. even if kelly got dropped several times, he's too strong and his jab, the most important punch is boxing, already proved to be b-hops weakness as taylor showed, even tho i don't think taylor beat him the first time. kellys strength and pressure will be too much to b-hop

It's interesting when you do a close study of each fighter's last 3 fights. I've been watching alot of tape recently, and I felt like I thought I understood who might win this matchup, but after review, I'm not sure at this particular moment.
