You'll have to refresh my memory. Which fights did he do this in, and in which point of these fights did it happen. I'll go out on a limb and assume it happened after he knocked a guy down. Jumping on the top rope in the middle of a fight isn't a particularly practical form of showboating.
boinko, great point. and it was awfully close to happening that way too. I think there both great fighters who would give anyone problems. Calzahge, Kessler, Dawson, Hopkins, Wright, - Pavlik and Taylor give em all hell and losses.
The spoil goes to the victor.....they do **** like this:happy:boogie:mjartyWhat would you have him do? Apoligise
No, I did not say that, stop putting words in people's mouth and act like a normal person unless that is too much to ask from you.
I think Hopkins and Wright are getting too old to beat either Pavlik or Taylor. But, I'd love to see those other matches. And we almost certainly will if both Pavlik and Taylor move up in weight. Although Taylor's road back might be pretty rocky. He must be hugely demoralized after this loss, and I wonder if he'll ever be motivated to make it back. If there was ever a beaten fighter, it was Jermain in that interview with Merchant last night.
Macho, can't you be mature enough to realize that everytime you post you are contradicted in every way, thus making you look stupid, which is pretty much what you are. Unless you are looking to upset guys and have a laugh doing it then you are ******ed.
I will agree that such behaviour after knocking a guy down is a little extreme. I don't remember him being particularly cocky during fights in the same way someone like PBF is, i.e. showboating and such. That's more what I was talking about. But, I agree that's it's probably best to save the celebration until your opponent is actually counted out.
alot of people are hating on pavlik after the fight...what he did last night was remarkable show him respect he is the champ
I am not convinced Pavlik sticking his tongue out was even a taunt. When I seen it I thought it may have been a involuntary reaction to a mouth cut or something.
