If this fight were to ever happen as much as I like Kelly I think would end up losing to Williams...cause at 160 Williams is at his strongest....Pavlik is going to get weaker each time out trying to make 160 now and I see Williams being more Active then Pavlik

I don't even know how to respond to this. Paul is no coward at all. Williams has what it takes to beat pavlick he just wants to make sure he gets paid the way he should for a fight of this magnitude. Paul by UD just to much boxing skills for the ghost. But I really want to see it.

im a huge paul williams fan because i loved his il fight anybody attitude but, his recent actions with pavlik are very dissapointing. All of you other williams fans out there are blinded by your love for him, thed facts are pwill is no longer a welter he is a solid junior middle, so going up one weight class is not that giant of a task. Secondly when in any prize fight did a champion, an undisputed lineal champion at that give up close to 50 50 against a challenger unless that challenger is oscar. 1.5 million for williams , they should be estatic, yes he is a great fighter but he is not a fan draw at all, when he fought winky at mandalay like 5 or 6 thousand showed up to a 15 thousand seat arena, i live in vegas and there was absolutely no buzz about that fight. So if anything pavlik should be respected for volunteering to take a high risk low reward fight. Ussually the person with much to risk and not a lot to gain backs out,but in this case williams who is everything to gain and nothing to lose is backing out. Its as clear of a sign of fear as u will ever see

 

honestly i believe he has the skills to win as well but, i would still make kelly a slight fav just because williams hasnt been in the ring with anyone nearly as powerful as pavlik, and wright hant fought in almost a year and a half when pwill fought him so even though that was a near perfect performance i think its a bit overrated due to winkys lack of activity and age

Williams can fight in three different divisions so his options remain wider in comparison to Pavlik. Pavlik needs Williams more than Williams needs him, can't blame Williams for demanding more money.
