Since all of the KP fans are saying he such a "huge" MW then he should have no problem going up 1 weight division and fighting some of the top 5 guys when available!!! As for now all that is available to Kelly are good WW and JMW so there is nothing right now that could make me reconsider how I feel!!!

I want Martinez to win but It is more of an accomplishment for Martinez if he wins than if Pavlik wins!!!

This is a lose/lose fight for Pavlik in my eyes cause if he loses badly then his marketability is finished!!!:hey

 

BTW I expect Pavlik to out jab Martinez because Martinez is not really a jabber! Martinez is a fast counter puncher!!! Just to answer your origional question!!:yep

 

If Kelly is a "huge" MW, he should have no problem against a natural WW in Martinez. In order for Kelly to get his props, I feel he has to really look dominant and KO Martinez.

 

I too think he has to KO Martinez early for the boxing community to give him respect for the fight!

The problem is that Martinez isn't a push over and could possibly stop KP with a few flush power shots!!!! Kelly is sturdy but he has shown in the past that he can be dropped and hurt!!!

Pavlik says he expects a tough fight, and that he'll be ready for 12 hard rounds. He also made a lot of sense breaking down Sergio's style, weaknesses, strengths, et.

Martinez said he will bust Pavlik up and knock him out. He basically already declared himself the new middleweight champ.

One guy is making sense. The other is acting stupid.

 

Sergio cashing out maybe? I'm not sure how much he has made in previous fights. I doubt there was any fight at 154 that would have brought him the same purse.
